Cummin Associates: Design





		Cummin Associates seeks to create gardens which look as they have always been there and which connect seamlessly to the house. We can have the most input on a project if we are retained early in the design process to assist in the evaluation of the form of the land and its associated vegetation. The design process begins with the development of a master plan which organizes the wishes and needs of the client and relates them to the opportunities presented by the land. Following the completion of the master plan we develop carefully the detailed drawings from which the design is implemented, using traditional materials and time-honored methods of construction. Upon completion of construction, we frequently assist owners with the 'stage management' of their properties so that as the gardens mature and change, the original design intent is preserved.
